InspireSeattle Event: November 7, 2016

InspireSeattle Event on November 7, 2016

Hate Free Candlelight Vigil

This event is the second in response to a hate crime in the Delridge neighborhood of West Seattle.  At our first event, so many showed up that we ran out of our 180 name tags!

We can't let "Trumped-up", uncivil hate speech infect our civic dialog. We must stand against the idea that being "politically incorrect" allows people to insult and threaten others in the community.  And now that Trump refuses to accept the election results if he loses, and will likely work to continue to stir up anger, resentment and violence in the months to come, this vigil on the night before the election is to show our commitment to reject Trump’s efforts to divide our communities.

Come join us, rain or shine, to show your support for inclusive, hate-free communities!
